Del gold - Established in Canada by cross breading a wild Rustica tobacco with two prevalent U.S strains, a Broad leaf strain and a Virginia strain. A very productive high nicotine strain that grows to 5 feet and has large, wide, heavy pale green leaves. This strain is among some of the finest recognized strains used by tobacco manufactures. Used for cigarettes and pipes.
