Costa Rica 589 – often called Iztepeque, is a primitive strain that is unclassified. It bear’s a resemblance to Turkish strains in many ways. The foliage is of a mid green and cures to a light brown, it is a mild strain that can put up with low temperatures and is a superb pipe or cigar tobacco.
