Krumovgrad 988 - is a large stipule curly-leaf Basibali type tobacco originating from the Krumovgrad region in Bulgaria and grows to 4 to 5 feet with 34 to36 leaves per plant, the leaves ripen consecutively and dry fast. The dried tobacco leaves have a yellow orange shade. The properties of this strain typical of an oriental, it has a pleasant taste and very good burning capability. Used for making cigarettes, pipe blends.
