Cutting tobacco

Picture
Once you have cut your tobacco leaves there is really not much else to do apart from sit back and wait. you will need a warm dry area with free air flow like a shed or out building such as a garage. string some line tight across the room and make a small cut down to the base of the leaf and hang them up with about an 1inch spacing between them.

What I will say is, just keep an eye on them if it’s to damp or there is not enough air flow they may get mold on the leaves and this will ruin the crop.

Curing tobacco

Picture
Many sites will go into great depth about curing tobacco not least of which maybe about temperature placing it in an oven adding flavor and so on and so on well this may be the case and certainly would be with a cigarette company but in my experience just time does the job, about 2-3 months will do it but tobacco is like wine and the longer you wait the better the end result.

End result

The end result is a fine cut tobacco that smokes great and has no other additives added.
