Olor wrapper – is a tobacco binder grown in the Villa Gonzalez region of the Dominican Republic. Olor is the Dominican Republic’s native strain, and produces a leaf that is thinner and smaller than other strains from this region, but has a marvelous aroma (olor means “smell” or “aroma” in Spanish) and excellent burning qualities. This is why so many Dominican-made cigars use Olor for the binder portion of the blend.
Wisconsin 901 – is a cigar filler or binder but also makes for a very nice pipe tobacco blender it has large mid green leaves and is a upright form that matures quite early, Wisconsin has a rich tobacco history and in 1839 Wisconsin reports the production of 115 pounds of tobacco. Used for cigars and pipes.
Habano 2000 – was developed by crossing the strain Corojo and a strain of dark Cuban tobacco named Habano 2.1.1, and has a very good resistance to some tobacco viruses. Olor is the Dominican Republic’s native strain, and produces a leaf that is thinner and smaller than other strains from this region, but has a marvelous aroma (olor means “smell” or “aroma” in Spanish) and excellent burning qualities. This is why so many Dominican-made cigars use Olor for the binder portion of the blend.
Wisconsin 901 – is a cigar filler or binder but also makes for a very nice pipe tobacco blender it has large mid green leaves and is a upright form that matures quite early, Wisconsin has a rich tobacco history and in 1839 Wisconsin reports the production of 115 pounds of tobacco. Habano 2000 – was developed by crossing the strain Corojo and a strain of dark Cuban tobacco named Habano 2.1.1, and has a very good resistance to some tobacco viruses.
